Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology Allahabad, Allahabad (MNNIT) is an Institute with total commitment to quality and excellence in academic pursuits. Application are invited from Indian nationals for the post of Junior Research Fellow (on contract) in research project entitled “Study of role of lactone signaling and alginate production on neutrophil interaction, apoptosis, and subsequent macrophage mediated phagocytosis against Pseudomonas aeruginosa biofilm associated infections” sanction order no EMR/2014/000496 dated 11/09/2015 sponsored by Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB).

Desired Profile :M.Sc./B. Tech in Biotechnology, Biochemical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, molecular biology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Life Sciences or equivalent with NET/GATE or equivalent OR M. Tech in Biotechnology, Biochemical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, molecular biology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Life Sciences or equivalent
Preferred : Experience in Immunology, Cell Biology.
Fellowship : 16,000/- per month
Age Limit : 28 years on the last date of application (The upper age limit is relaxable upto 5 years in the case of candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PH and women candidates)
Tenure of Appointment : Appointment will be made on contract basis for a period of one year initially, which may be extended depending on the performance evaluation on yearly basis till the end of project
