Job title: Food safety specialist / hygienist
Essential qualifications:
- University degree or equivalent (food science/technology, Microbiology, or chemistry/chemical engineering)
- Good oral and written communication skills in English and French required
Experience:
Min 2 years operational experience: Demonstrated competence to support business requirements, e.g. Quality, Production Support, Application Group, quality department in a PTC/R&D, NRC, NQACs Nestle Quality assurance experience center or market. In particular experience with a variety of product categories would be an advantage.
Key responsibilities:
- Promote food safety and hygiene awareness throughout the NRC.
- Contribute to the development of hygienic/food safety competencies at the NRC, including delivering training.
- Define and update procedures, instructions and tools related to hygiene/food safety.
- Support continuous excellence to reduce non-conformities, including root cause analysis.
- Support activities to achieve compliance with the Quality Management System (QMS) requirements, including test product release, HACCP study review, water quality and possibly pest control.
- Assess that the QMS is in place and delivering the required results, including auditing for FSSC22000, ISO9001, Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) and internal Nestlé standards.
