National Institute of Immunohaematology(NIIH) motto is to conduct basic and clinical research for the benefit of society and ultimately the nation. Newer areas developed included molecular genetics and prenatal diagnosis of hemoglobinopathies, hemostasis and thrombosis, cytogenetics and molecular cytogenetics, Cell Biology applications in hematology and stem cell research. While celebrating its 50 years of existence, the Institute has developed in stature as an "unique". Institute conducting basic and applied research, providing reference services (for routine and specialized tests) to needy patients and offering training especially in blood banking methodology and several blood bank technicians and medical officers and molecular hematology thus ultimately helping the society in different ways.
Walk-In-Interview for SRF, Date - 18th November 2015
Qualifications:M.Sc. 1st Class in Life Science / Microbiology / Genetics / Molecular Biotechnology / Biochemistry
Experience: 2 years research experience, preferably from a reputed Government Research Institute / University.
Desirable: Experience in molecular biology.
Age: The upper age limit is 28 years as on 1st April 2015.
Stipend: Rs. 28,000 + 30% HRA.
Date of Interview: 18th November 2015
Time of Verification: 9:00 - 10:00 AM
Time of Interview: 11:00 AM

General Conditions: - The appointment will be purely on Temporary basis for a short-term duration and no other regular service benefits will be admissible. The candidates will not have any rights to claim for regular employment in this Institute. The Director in charge has the right to accept/reject any application without assigning any reason and no correspondence in this matter will be entertained.
