The Central Institute of Brackishwater Aquaculture serves as the nodal agency for the development of brackishwater aquaculture in the country. The Headquarters of the Institute is located at Chennai with an Experimental Field Station at Muttukadu, about 30 km south of Chennai. The Institute has one Research Centre at Kakdwip in West Bengal.

Project : All India Network Project on Fish Health
Educational Qualification : Post-graduation degree in any area of Life Sciences with specialization in Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Marine biology or related subjects
Experience : Working knowledge of biology, Microbiology, molecular biology as evident through dissertation/project work/research publication. Necessary computer knowledge for recording and analyzing scientific research works
Payscale : Rs.16000
Age Limit : 40 years for Men & 45 years for Women as on date of Interview (Upper Age limits are relaxable for SC,ST and OBC candidates as per Govt. of India norms (at present 5 years SC/ST and 3 years for OBC)
