The PAU has played a key role in increasing food grain production in the Punjab State several folds share its reputation and ushering in an era of Green Revolution in India. Applications are invited on the prescribed form available in the office of undersigned on payment of Rs.200/- in shape of Bank Draft payable at Ludhiana in favour of Comptroller, PAU, Ludhiana on any working day from 9.00 A.M. to 5.00 P.M. alongwith attested copies of certificates for the Three positions Research Associates/Research Fellow in the Project “Incentivizing Research in Agriculture“Project-III Genetic modifications to improve biological nitrogen fixation, ICAR-52 (PC-2303)” for a period of six months or till the termination of the scheme which ever is earlier.

Desired Profile : M.Sc. in/Bioinformatics/Biotechnology/Genetics/ Plant Breeding/Plant Breeding & Genetics/ Plant Breeding, Genetics & Biotechnology/Microbiology/Biochemistry/Botany with desirable qualification of Agriculture Soil Microbiology/Horticulture/Plant Pathology/Entomology, with at least 6.50/10.00 or 65% marks | Ph.D. in the relevant field with minimum OCPA 65.00/10.00 or 65% marks.
Preferred : Knowledge of Computer; Working experience in DUS Project
Emoluments : Rs 23,000/- per month fixed + HRA 20% for M.Sc. and Rs. 24,000/- p.m. fixed + HRA 20% for Ph.D
Note : If the candidate with Ph.D are not available the same could be offered to applicants with M.Sc. degree in the relevant field but at the lower pay scale as per DBT guidelines give below.
- NET-JRF @ Rs. 16000/- Per Month fixed+HRA 20% as JRF.
- NET-SRF (with two year experience @ Rs. 18000/- Per Month fixed+HRA 20%.
- NET-LS or without NET-LS @ Rs.12000/- Per Month fixed+HRA 20% Or NET-LS or without NET-LS with two year experience after post graduation @ Rs. 14000/- + HRA 20%.
