Technical Specialist, Bradyrhizobium, RTP
Do you want to work in an environment in which creativity and challenging the status quo is as valued as scientific excellence? If so, you could be our new Bradyrhizobium Technical Specialist in BioAg Development based in RTP. You will be responsible for development and scale up of new and innovative microbial inoculants in our soon to be established state of the art lab and pilot plant facilities in RTP. You will be involved in establishing a fundamental and applied research portfolio of projects around soy inoculants, and be responsible for coordinating, leading and setting direction for a multi-functional team aimed at transforming Agriculture to feed a growing world. Alongside an in-depth understanding of Bradyrhizobium physiology & life cycle and/or the development of products based on Bradyrhizobium, you also possess outstanding stakeholder management skills and a strategic mindset.
In this position you need to:
- Have a Ph.D. degree in Microbiology or related field with relevant management experience, and a proven record of innovation
- Specialize in the use of agricultural inoculants focusing on Bradyrhizobium & soy applications with an in-depth knowledge of the physiology, survival and formulation of microorganism containing products
- Be a proven leader with the ability to motivate and manage a multi-functional team and multiple projects, with extensive understanding of the BioAg market, manufacturing and commercial practices preferred
- Have strong communication skills with the ability to communicate to various levels of stakeholders in the organization from R&D to production
- Have the ability to work in the US now or in the future without sponsorship
