Bharathidasan University established in February 1982, and was named after the great revolutionary Tamil Poet, Bharathidasan. The research work going on in some of the departments and research centres Physics, Chemistry, Life Sciences, Centre for Nonlinear Dynamics) are internationally recognized because of their high quality. Some of the research centres of the university are strongly supported by scientific agencies in India. The Centre for Nonlinear Dynamics is supported by DST and DAE and the National Facility for Marine Cyanobacteria is supported by DBT.

Project title : RNAi mediated functional analysis of RNA Induced Silencing Complex (RISC) and its component AEG-1 that induce the expression of Transcription factor LSF In Hepatocellular Carcinoma
Fellowship : Rs 14000/- pm
Desired Profile : First class in M.Sc. Biochemistry/Biotechnology/ Microbiology /any Life Sciences related area
Preferred : Experience in working with Molecular Oncology/Animal tissue culture techniques is preferable.
Duration : 3 years
Age Limit : 28 years as on the date of interview (Relaxation is admissible in case of SC/ST/OBC as per the norms of Government of India)
