Walk–in–interview for one post of Junior Research Fellow in a DBT Sponsored Project entitled “Mechanistic Insights into the Adaptation Stage of CRISPR-Cas Immune System” at the Department of Biosciences and Bioengineering, IIT Guwahati.
Qualification and Experience:
M.Sc/ M.Tech /B.Tech in Biotechnology/Life sciences/Biochemistry/Biophysics or related subjects with minimum of 60% marks. Candidates with atleast two years prior experience in cloning, overexpression, Protein purification and macromolecular crystallography are highly encouraged to apply.
Fellowship: JRF: 25,000 per month if NET/GATE/BET/BINC qualified. Otherwise it will be 12,000 per month. HRA and Medical facility as admissible and as per institute norms.
Terms: The appointment will be on contract basis initially for one year, may be extended based on performance till the duration of the project. The position will be co-terminus with the project.
