WALK-IN-INTERVIEW
Eligible candidates are invited for Walk-in-interview for the post of One Junior
Research Fellow (JRF) under time bound Research Project entitled “Improvement of the
accuracy of differential diagnosis against viral infection – DENV, CHICKV– by spreading of
high quality RDT in India” sponsored by DST for filling up following posts purely temporary
on contractual basis for the period of one year and may be extended based on satisfactory
performance and approval of funding agency for the subsequent period. Details of posts
including number of vacancies, remuneration, age, requisite qualification, and experience in
respect of these posts is as under:
Name of the post: Junior Research Fellow
Monthly remuneration: Rs. 16,000 plus 30% HRA per month
No. of positions: 01 (One) Age limit: 18-40 years
Essential qualifications: M.Sc. degree (with 60% marks or above) in Microbiology/Biochemistry/ Biotechnology or equivalent degree with good academic background.
Desirable: Aptitude for research in the area of Microbiology/ Immunology/ molecular biology/Virology etc. and its application in the area of health and diseases will be preferred.
2. Eligible and interested candidates should appear for Walk-in-interview along with all
relevant documents/certificates etc. in original together with self attested copies of all
documents in support of their candidature for the post, two passport size photographs (one
should be pasted on the application form) and complete application form duly filled in
Annexure-II, at Room No. 505, 5th floor, Department of Microbiology, VMMC Building,
VMMC & Safdarjung Hospital, New Delhi– 110029, date and timing of the interviews are as
