The origin of Central Pulp & Paper Research Institute (CPPRI) dates back to the year 1975 when the UNDP-GOI Project became operational with an objective to create the required R&D facilities for evaluation of fibrous raw material for the Indian paper industry. After the conclusion of the above project, CPPRI came into existence as"National Level Research Institute" dedicated for the assistance to the Indian paper industry.
Institute is going to hold Walk in Interview for engagement of the following manpower on purely tmporary and contractual basis under its XII Five year plan schemes and cess sponsored projects :

Position 1 : Research Associate
- No of Post : 1
- Desired Profile :M.Sc in Microbiology/Biotechnology/Chemistry/Biochemistry or BE/B.Tech in Biochemical/Biotechnology. Candidates should also have an experience of 6 years in the field of pulp and paper
- Pay : Rs 22000/- pm + HRA
Position 2 : SRF
- No of Post : 1
- Desired Profile : PhD/M.Tech in Biotechnology/Microbiology/Chemistry or M.Sc in Cellulose and Paper/Chemistry/Biotechnology/Microbiology. Candidates should also have an experience of 4 years in R&D insitution relating to pulp and paper industry
- Pay : Rs 16000/- pm + HRA

Position 3 : Project Assistant
- No of Post : 7
- Desired Profile : Graduate in Science
- Pay : Rs 8000/- consolidated

Position 4 : JRF
