The National Institute of Oceanography (NIO) is one of 37 constituent laboratories of the CSIR - Council of Scientific and Industrial Research, an autonomous research organization in India. The institute has its headquarters in the coastal state of Goa, and regional centres in Kochi, Mumbai and Vizag. Essential Qualifications :M.ScMicrobiology / Marine Microbiology /Biotechnology/ Marine Science / Marine Biology
Desirable : Knowledge of basic microbiological and molecular biology techniques. Computer knowledge with basic MS Office operations
Job requirement : The selected candidates need to assist scientists in the laboratory experiments, collection & analyses of samples and also in data processing. The candidates will be required to go on fieldwork for collection of samples.
