The Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay (IITB) is one of the Fifteen higher Institutes of Technology in the country set up with the objective of making available facilities for higher education, research and training in various fields of Science and Technology. The Institute on an average admits 880 candidates for the undergraduate programme through Joint Entrance Exam(JEE), 280 candidates for 2 Year M.Sc. programmes, 1000 candidates for different postgraduate programmes and 450 for Ph.D programmes every year.

Desired Profile : Post 1 : M.Sc. (Microbiology/Biotechnology) , Knowledge of Computer applications preferred; Post 2 : M.Sc. (Physiology or Biophysics or Chemistry or Physics or Biology or Environmental Science) OR B.Tech. in Biomedical Engineering.
Preferred : Post 1 : Minimum 5 years experience in laboratory work, and lab-related work, purchase related work; Post 2 : Needs to be very comfortable with computer applications. Minimum 3 years of experience in lab-related work. Good communication skills in spoken and written English. Lab-related purchases and installations.
Emoluments : Rs 36213 per month
