Central Plantation Crops Research Institute (CPCRI) was established in 1970 as one of the agricultural research institutes in the National Agricultural Research System (NARS) under the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR).The Institute had the mandate to undertake research on coconut, arecanut, cocoa, cashew, oil palm and spices at the time of establishment.
Walk-in interview (including a written test) for engagement of personnel to the temporary assignment of Senior Research Fellow (One position) purely on contractual basis under "ICAR outreach project -Phytophthora, Fusarium and Ralstonia disease of Horticultural and field crops" shall be held at CPCRI, Kudlu PO, Kasaragod -671 124, Kerala on 31.08.2015

- Pay : 25000/-per month + HRA for two years 28,000/-per month + HRA for last three years
- Desired Profile : M.Sc.(Ag.) with Plant Pathology/ M.Sc(Botany)/M.Sc,(Microbiology) M.Sc. (Biotechnology/M.Sc, (Life Sciences)
- Preferred : Experience in plantation crops preferably in Plant Pathology
- Age : 18-30 years for men and 18-35 years for women as on the date of interview. (Upper age limit relaxable to
SC/ST/OBC candidates) as per rules
- Duration : For a period of up to March 2017
The candidates fulfilling the above eligibility criteria may attend the walk-in-interview at CPCRl, Kasaragod on the date mentioned above. The candidates should be present in the venue of the Interview at 8.30 A.M on the date of Interview. Late comers shall not be allowed to take the interview. They should bring with them, their bio -data and original certificates in proof of age, caste, educational qualifications, experience etc. Those who do not furnish the Original or Provisional Certificate of the Degree course will not be allowed to appear for the written test/interview.
