National AIDS Research Institute [NARI] was established in October 1992 in Bhosari, Pune on a seven acre plot. The Institute has progressively expanded its activities in various aspects of research on HIV and AIDS through infra-structural development, capacity building & research programmes. The present infrastructure includes the Institute housed in a 28024 sq. mtr space, residential accomadation for the staff, a power plant to ensure uninterrupted power supply and an incinerator for safe disposal of bio-waste.

- Position : Project Technical Officer (Unreserved)

- Desired Profile : M.Sc. Medical Microbiology/ Biotechnology / Life Sciences.
- Preferred : Two year experience in Immunological laboratory techniques, molecular biology candidates with experience in Quality Assurance and Quality Control is preferred.
- Job Responsibilities : The major activity will be participating in the quality program for CD4 count estimation. The incumbent is expected to perform the following tasks. 1. Monitor
the participating centers for quality in CD4 Count estimation, provide trouble shooting; 2.Development of protocol , SOP for CD4 count.; 3. To conduct & facilitate CD4 EQAS participate & conduct training programs/workshops and meetings
- Age : Below 30 years
- Salary : Rs. 25,000/- per month
