Rajiv Gandhi University (formerly Arunachal University) is the premier institution for higher education in the state of Arunachal Pradesh and has completed twenty five years of its existance. Late Smt. Indira Gandhi, the then Prime Minister of India, laid the foundation stone of the university on 4th February 1984 at Rono Hills, where the present campus is located.
Applications are invited for the following posts under the “Center with Potential for Excellence in Biodiversity”. The posts are temporary and shall be terminated at the end of the CPEB-phase –II project. Duration of the project is 2 (two) years. Last date for submission of application form is 31st August, 2015.

Desired Profile :
- For post 1 - M.Sc. Ph. D in Zoology/Botany/Life Science or any other Biological Science having research experience in biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Microbiology. Candidate having Ph.D in Microbiology/research experience in Microbiology shall be given preference.
- For post 2 - M.Sc. Ph. D in Botany/Zoology/Life Science/ or any other
Biological science having experience of research in phytochemistry/ Biochemistry, plant molecular biology and tissue culture and plan taxonomy.
