Applications are invited from Indian citizens for engagement of Consultant (Research and Promotional activities) on monthly remuneration of Rs. 35,000/- initially for a period of one year. National Medicinal Plants Board (NMPB) and Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Science (CCRAS), under Department of AYUSH, Government of India, to conceive the idea of developing a database in which, all the available published information on selected medicinal plants, covering every subject area can be accessed at one place. This will help the scientific community to keep themselves updated with the research and development work being carried out for a particular medicinal plant. This database will also be a source of useful information for students, teachers, practitioners of AYUSH system and all those who are involved in their cultivation propagation etc. This will also help in eliminating duplication/ repetition of same work.
Job Title : “Consultant (Research & Promotional Activities
Eligibility : Masters’ Degree in Bio-Chemistry/Phyto-Chemistry /Pharmacognosy/ Medicinal Plants/Bio-Technology/molecular biology/Microbiology.
Experience : At least 2 years’ experience in the field of research.
Desirable : Ph.D. in concerned discipline
