Indian Veterinary Research Institute or IVRI is located at Izzatnagar, Bareilly in Uttar Pradesh state. It is India's premier advanced research facility in the field of veterinary medicine and allied branches. The institute continues to play an important role in quality control and potency testing of immunobiologicals to various stakeholders with a good liaison with industry. In the liberalized scenario, to my mind this represents the inherent and fundamental strength of IVRI. Kisan Mela and Pashu Vigyan Pradarshini and other extension activities including KVK, ATIC, Helpline, etc. play a key role in technology transfer mission of the institute.

- Project title : All India Network Programme on Haemorrhagic Septicaemia
- Position : Research Associate
- No of Post : One
- Desired Profile : MSc in Microbiology plus 2 years experience, or Ph.D. in above mentioned subjects.
- Preferred : Work experience in bacteriology, cloning, expression & other molecular techniques as well as animal experimentation
- Remuneration : Rs. 23000/- + HRA (Rs. 24000/-+HRA
for PhD holders
- Project title : All India Network Programme on Neonatal Mortality in Farm Animals
- Position : Research Associate/SRF
- No of Post : One
- Desired Profile : MSc in Microbiology. For RA position, 2 years experience, or Ph.D. in above mentioned subjects is required.
- Preferred : Work experience in bacteriology, cloning, expression & other molecular techniques as well as animal experimentation
- Remuneration : Rs. 23000/-+ HRA (Rs. 24000/-+HRA for PhD holders.If, SRF is selected emoulments will be Rs 16000/- for other than veterinary science.
