Eligiblity : Masters in Science with major in Biology/ Microbiology/ Biochemistry/ Biotechnology/ Genetics/Agriculture in (Biotechnology) from recognized universities/Institute
Experience : 2-5 years
Salary : INR 7,00,000 - 10,00,000 P.A
Duties/Responsibilities :
- Responsible for developing high through put cloning and plant phenotyping.
- Good molecular biology skills including PCR, next gene sequencing and cloning is required.
- Develop and perform various in-house high-throughput assays
- Data capture, analysis and reporting to summarize experiments
- Good communication skills and ability to work in team environment. Able to work with diverse team members good team player
- Ability to trouble-shoot for experimental failures. Summarize experiments, manages and analyzes data.
- Prepare reports to manager and coordinate with multi-site collaborators, and occasionally presents results to larger audiences.
- Manage multiple projects and prioritizes individual tasks effectively to meet deadlines.
Competencies and Experience Desired :
- The candidate should possess good working knowledge of plant growth and development, gene cloning, sequencing and molecular biology, plant culture experience, performing plant based screening.
- Candidate should be able to work with different plant evaluations.
- Prior experience in the field of plants biology is essential.
- Previous experience with standard molecular biology techniques, including Southern, Northern, Polymerase chain reaction (PCR) and vector/gene construction is required.
- Candidate should work well in cross functional team environment, have excellent communication skills, basic computer competency, should be eager to work and have good observation skills.
- Excellent organizational & inter-personal skills are desirable.
