Junior Research Fellow under DST- Indo-UK IERI funded bilateral project at Thapar University

Applications are invited for the post of Junior Research Fellow under DST- Indo-UK IERI funded bilateral project entitled “Green polymers for water borne pathogen detection and treatment”. The project is a joint collaboration program between Department of Biotechnology, Thapar University, Patiala, India and Heriot-Watt University, United Kingdom. JRF will also have an opportunity to work in the labs of Heriot Watt and University of Edinburg UK

  • Position : JRF
  • No of Post : One
  • Desired Profile : Post graduate degree in Biotechnology/environmental sciences/Microbiology/Biochemistry with NET

    qualification or graduate degree in professional course with NET qualification or post graduate degree in professional course.

  • Preferred : Good academic record with sound knowledge of analytical techniques, Biochemistry and Microbiology
  • Duration : 1 year 
  • Emoluments : Rs 25,000+ 10% HRA
