Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (GADVASU) was established at Ludhiana by an act of the Punjab Legislature No. 16 of 2005 notified in the Punjab Government Gazette on August 9, 2005 and it started functioning w.e.f. April 21, 2006 for promoting livestock production, health and prevention of the disease(s) through integrated teaching, research and extension programme(s).
Applications are invited on plain paper (along with attested copies of date of birth certficate, degrees,mark sheets, experience certificates and list of publications and a recent size photograph) for the temporary post of one Junior Research Fellow/SRF in the Research project "Actio-pathology and molecular epidemiology of bacterial and viral diseases associated with the respiratory problem of Yak in the North-Eastern Region of India" under DBT twinning programme

- Stipend : Rs.16000/- + HRA for first two year and Rs 18000/- + HRA for third year as SRF and applicable, only if JRF/SRF is NET/GATE/BET/BINC qualified, otherwise it shall be Rs 12000/- + HRA for 1st two year and Rs 14000 + HRA for the third year for SRF
- Desired Profile :M.Sc./M.Tech degree in any Life Science discipline having at least 65% marks or an OCPA of 6.5/10.0 equivalent
- Preferred : Preference will be given to the
candidates having experience of working in the area of molecular biology and Microbiology
- Job requirement : To assist in laboratory and field research in Microbiology, molecular biology and animal cell culture
