Banaras Hindu University is a public central university located in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh.  Established in 1916 by Pandit Madan Mohan Malviya, BHU is one of the largest residential universities in Asia. BHU is organised into 4 institutes and 14 faculties (streams) and more than 140 departments

Application are invited for the post of Senior Research Fellow (SRF) for the project entitled “Exploration of locally available bio-control agents in consortia for the management of nematode diseases in vegetable crops” funded by U. P. Council of Agricultural Research, Lucknow for the period of 3 (Three) years. The post is purely temporary and co- terminus with the project. The details of post and qualification are given bellow:

  • Position : SRF
  • No of Post : One
  • Desired Profile : M.Sc. (Ag.) Mycology & Plant Pathology / Nematology, M.Sc. in Biotechnology or Microbiology
  • Preferred : Candidate with NET & Two Years

    research experience in the area of related field

  • Fellowship : Rs. 16,000+20% HRA/ month for I, II year & 18,000+20% HRA for III year
