The Warehousing Development and Regulatory Authority (WDRA) was constituted under the Warehousing (Development and Regulation) Act, 2007 (No. 37 of 2007) and was made operational vide Gazette Notification dated 26th October 2010.
The mission of Warehousing Development and Regulatory Authority (WDRA) is to regulate and ensure implementation of the provisions of the Warehousing (Development and Regulation) Act, 2007 for the development and regulation of warehouses, Regulations of Negotiability of Warehouse Receipts and promote orderly growth of the warehousing business.
Job Title: Director (Technical)
Salary : Rs. 37400-67000 + GP –Rs. 8700 (PB-4)
Job Description:
Director (Technical) would be responsible for work relating to grant of Registration to the Warehouses/ Accreditation Agencies as provided in the Warehousing (Development and
Regulation) Act, 2007 and other technical duties and functions as may be assigned by the Competent Authority from time to time.
Qualification: Possessing degree in any Biological sciences (including Agriculture) from a recognized university.
Experience: Officers of Central and State Government/Central and State PSUs /Central and State Autonomous /Statutory bodies holding analogous posts in the relevant field or 06 years of experience in the relevant field in the Pay Band 2 with Grade Pay of Rs. 4800/- or equivalent and
3 years experience in Administration/ Finance/ Vigilance/ Budget.
