Tripura Biodiversity Board (TBB) has been constituted in the State vide No.F.8(31)/A/For-WL/98/Part-II/7,309-40 Dated: 16th June,2008,in pursuance to the provisions of the Biodiversity Act, 2002 of Government of India. Wide variety of wild animals belonging to different groups are found in tripura. The richness of fauna could be attributed to its unique bio-geographical location and zoo-geographical position. Literature shows that there were large populations of rhinoceros, elephant, tiger, leopard, langurs and monkeys in tripura (Gupta, 2000).

Job Description :
- Provide logistical support to the MS, TBB and State Project Coordinator and project consultants in conducting different project activities (trainings, workshops.
- Undertake tasks related to collection and collation of data in the field, preparation of Technical Reports and data analysis as required.
- Maintain files with project documents, expert reports;
- Assist MS/SPC for regular contact with project experts and consultants to inform them about the project details and changes;
- Assist in translation of document in different languages, maintenance of website.
- Drafting correspondence and documents; finalize correspondence of administrative nature; edit reports and other documents for correctness of form and content;
