The official export inspection and certification body of India established under Export (Quality Control & Inspection) Act, 1963 under Ministry of Commerce & Industry, needs professionals for appointment in Export Inspection Agencies having Head Offices at Delhi, Mumbai, Kochi, Chennai and Kolkata with a network of 30 Sub-Offices including laboratories, invites ONLINE applications for the posts as mentioned below :
Position 1
- Job Title : Assistant Director
- No of openings : 10
- Vacancy No. : 1314/01 - 1415/03
- Pay Band & Grade Pay : PB-3; Rs.15600- 39100 + GP 5400/-
- Educational Qualifications & Exp : Degree in Engineering I Technology or Post Graduate in Science or its equivalent and 05 years' experience in inspection, and or testing in the fields of Chemistry, Food Science & Technology, Fisheries, Veterinary Science and Computers/iT. Preference will be given to First Class Post Graduates.
Position 2
- Job Title : Technical Officer
- No of openings : 2
- Vacancy No : 1314/02 - 1415/04
- Pay Band & Grade Pay : PB-2; Rs.9300- 34800 + GP Rs.4200/-
- Educational Qualifications & Exp : Degree in Engineering /Technology I Degree in Science (Preferably Honours/ Post Graduate) or equivalent with 03 years' experience in inspection and/ or testing in the fields of Chemistry, Food Science & Technology, Fisheries, Veterinary Science and Computers.
Position 3
- Job Title : Junior Scientific Assistant
- No of openings : 1
- Vacancy No. : 1314/03
- Pay Band & Grade Pay : PB-2; Rs.9300- 34800 + GP Rs.4200/-
- Educational Qualifications & Exp : Degree in Engineering /Technology; Degree in Science (Preferably Honours/ Post Graduate) or Diploma in Engineering/ Technology or equivalent with experience in testing I inspection in the field of Chemistry or Microbiology. Preference will be given to First Class Post Qraduate deqree.
How to Apply :
The Candidates fulfilling the above eligibility criteria should apply ONLINE on or before 18.05.2015 and the printout of the system generated application form taken after applyin online should be sent to this office at the address given hereunder so as to reach on or before 25, May, 2015 after affixing their signature along with a Passport size photo duly attested along with the details of remittance of Rs.5001- (Rupees five hundred only) made towards application fee (for each post applied separately) and self attested copy of educational qualification, experience, Caste certificate, PWD certificate, etc.., to the Director, Export Inspection Council of India, 3'd Floor, NDYMCA Cultural Centre Building, 1 Jai Singh Road, New Delhi-110 001.
Applications received after due date i.e. 2510512015 for any reason shall not be considered.
a) The print out of the System generated (ONLINE) Applications only will be accepted.
b) Applications which are not in the prescribed format (ONLINE) and without photo (attested), signature and proof of educational qualification, experience, ..etc., shall be rejected without any further correspondence in this regard.
c) Candidates belonging to SCI ST I PH & Women are exempted from payment of application fee.
d) Candidates applying for more than one Post should apply separately quoting the post applied for along with details of remittances made towards application fee of Rs.5001- (wherever applicable).
e) Candidates who are in service in Government I Public Sector Undertaking I Autonomous Bodies I Departmental Candidates etc., should send their applications THROUGH PROPER CHANNEL Q! should enclose a 'No Objection Certificate' of their employer along with the application.
Administrative & Vigilance clearance in respect of the employee should also be recorded in the
forwarding letter.
f) Candidates should specifically note that the applications received after the closing date for any reason whatsoever (such as envelopes wrongly addressed, delivered elsewhere, postal delay etc.) will not be entertained. Any enclosure received separately subsequent to the receipt of the application cannot be connected therewith. No representation in this regard will be entertained.
List of shortlisted candidates shall be placed in the website as and when the process gets completed and accordingly No interim correspondence shall be entertained.
