Sankara Nethralaya (SN) is a not-for-profit missionary institution for ophthalmic care (i.e., an eye hospital) in Chennai, India. Vision Research Foundation (VRF) is its research unit. VRF is premier work in the areas of ocular infections, cataract, tumours, angiogenesis and genetic basis of eye diseases and pathobiology of other ophthalmic disorders.
Applications are invited from Indian nationals for the following post in the DST funded project entitled” Copper transporter 1 as a therapeutic target for angiogenesis: understanding its Cellular and Molecular signaling in retinal angiogenesis”

- Desired Profile : M.ScBiochemistry preferably /Biotechnology , with a pass in any of the national exam: ICMR./CSIR-UGC/GATE
- Stipend : As per the DST norms
