Vacancy for two posts of Project Assistant Gr.II at NIIST, Tivandrum | Freshers apply

The National Institute for Interdisciplinary Science and Technology (NIIST), Thiruvananthapuram, is a constituent Laboratory of the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research(CSIR).Initially established in 1975 as a CSIR Complex.Currently NIIST is engaged in R & D programmes in areas related to Agroprocessing, Chemical Sciences ,Materials Science and Technology, Biotechnology, Process Engineering and Environmental Technology. The institute has established state-of-the- art facilities for conducting advanced research in the areas of interest 

The Institute invites eligible candidates for a Walk-in- Interview for filling up the following purely temporary positions as detailed below :

• Position : Project Assistant Gr.II
• No of Post : 2
• Desired Profile :M.ScMicrobiology/ molecular biology / Biotechnology with minimum 55% marks
• Stipend : Rs.12000/- + HRA
• Age Limit : 28 years as on 31.3.2015

Interested eligible candidates should report at NIIST at 9.00 a.m on 26.3.2015 (for sl. No.1) 27.3.2015( for sl.nos. 2&3) 31.3.2015 (for sl.no.4) and 01.04.2015 (for sl.No.5). Candidates will not be entertained after 9.30 a.m. Only those whose final results have been declared as on the date of walk in interview will be eligible.

The prescribed application form enclosed below can be downloaded from the NIIST website and duly filled forms may be submitted at the time of interview.” The application form should be accompanied by attested copies of testimonial/ certificate in support of age, educational qualification, experience and caste mentioned in the application. The applicant must also bring all the original certificates/testimonials at the time of test/ interview for verification
