Candidates who possess qualification mentioned below may attend the WALK IN-INTERVIEW on 20.03.2015 (Friday) at 9.00 AM with all the original certificates, including caste status and recent passport size photograph for one post of Senior Research Fellow under DST funded project entitled “Molecular characterization of Chikungunya viruses circulating in vectors in Tamil Nadu special emphasis on the pattern of persistence of CHIKV in nature and the co-circulation with dengue viruses in vector mosquitoes in Tamil Nadu”.

- Desired Profile : Post Graduate qualification (1st Division) in any field of Life Sciences such as Microbiology, molecular biology or Biotechnology at PG degree level from a recognized University or equivalent.
- Preferred : 2 years research experience in the relevant area on mosquito collection techniques, basic tissue culture techniques, handling aspetic microbiological techniques, knowledge in RT-PCR techniques. Knowledge in Computer applications
- Age : Below 35 years (as on the date of walk-in-interview) and relaxable for SC/ST and OBC candidates, as per the Govt. of India rules in for
- Emoluments : Rs.18,000/- p.m. (Consolidated) + HRA Admissible as per ICMR guidelines.
