- Name of the Post : Grants and Intellectual Property Rights Manager
- Desired Profile : Ph.D. in any Science subject with minimum 3 years of post-Ph.D. work experience
- Preferred : Experience Patent application and processing, Intellectual property rights, Laws associated with IPR, Technology Transfer, Writing Grant proposals, budgeting; Grants management; Science Communication (both oral and writing) and ease of handling computer and ICT tools
- Job Description : Run a Grants and IPR Office to facilitate patent applications and processing, facilitating collaborations with Industry; Assisting faculty in Grant writing, budget preparation; Identifying new funding opportunities for individual or group of scientists; Identifying various Ph.D. and Post-doctoral fellowship schemes and assisting the members of the institute to apply for the same; Maintaining a portal of all grants-related information for easy access to the members of the institute; monitoring fund flow, timely submission of reports and statement of accounts; Liaising with funding agencies
- Tenure of appointment : Initially for a period of one year, extendable for further period subject to satisfactory
performance of the incumbent.
- Stipend : Rs. 50,000/- p.m. to Rs. 75,000/- p.m.
- Age : Not more than 50 years as on closing date of advertisement
