"Gamete production and reproductive dysfunction" project at IICB calls fresher candidates

The Institute was established in 1935 as the first non official centre in to carry out basic biomedical research and was taken over by CSIR in 1956. CSIR-IICB today, by its mandate , is engaged in research on diseases of national importance and certain biological problems of global interest.

Applications are invited from the citizens of India for filling up the following temporary position for the sponsored project undertaken in the Department of Chemical Engineering of this Institute. The position is temporary initially for a period of  1 Year  and tenable only for the duration of the project.

  • Project : Factors governing competent gamete production and reproductive dysfunction(PROGRAM).
  • Position : Project Fellow
  • No of Post : 1
  • PI : Dr. Sib Sankar Roy
  • Desired Profile :M.Sc in Biochemistry or

    Microbiology or Physiology with at least 55% marks.

  • Age Limit : 28 Years
  • Stipend: Rs.16,000/- p.m. + HRA as per admissible.

Terms & Conditions : The engagement is purely temporary and, therefore, does not confer any right / claim implicit or explicit for regularization or absorption against any IICB / CSIR post. The age and qualifications will be reckoned as on the date of interview. The upper age limit is relaxable for SC / ST / OBC / PH and women candidates as per rules. Interested candidates fulfilling all the above conditions may appear for the walk-in-interview to be held on 09.02.2015 from 11.00 a.m. in the Red Carpet Room with the following documents original and self attested copy - (1) Matriculation Certificate in support of your date of birth, (2) Degree/Diploma Certificate, (3) Original reprints of all testimonials regarding educational qualification, (4) No Objection Certificate from the employer if employed, (5) Final Mark Sheet of M.Sc Examination, (6) One Passport size photograph.
