The National Environmental Engineering Research Institute (NEERI), Nagpur was established in 1958 as Central Public Health Engineering Research Institute (CPHERI), when environmental concerns were limited to human health with a focus on water supply/sewage disposal/ communicable diseases and to some extent on industrial pollution and occupational diseases.

- Project title : CO2 sequesteration from flue gas vis a vis carbonate and micro-algae mediated biofuel precursor production : Algal strain and high performance photobioreactor system development
- Position : Research Associate
- No of Post : One
- Desired Profile :M.Sc, PhD (Biotechnology/Biological sciences)
- Remuneration : Rs 36000/- + HRA (as per rules)
- Age Limitation : Max 32 years (relaxation to SC/ST/OBC/Women as per GOI rules)- 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC.
