National Institute of Mental Health and Neuro Sciences is a multidisciplinary Institute for patient care and academic pursuit in the frontier area of Mental Health and Neuro Sciences. The Institute functions under the direction of Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Govt. of India and Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of Karnataka. Several National and International funding organisations provide resources for research.
Applications are invited from the eligible candidates for filling up of “Senior Research Fellow” on adhoc basis for ICMR funded project entitled “ A family based association study of glutamatergic genes with obsessive compulsive disorder in a south Indian population” under Dr. Y.C.Janardhan Reddy, Professor & Principal Investigator, Department of Psychiatry , NIMHANS.

- Desired Profile : M.Sc in Biological Science/Biotechnology
- Preferred : Preference will be given to those who
have expertise with techniques related to molecular biology/Biotechnology.
- Age : 34 years (Age relaxation will be given for exceptionally suitable candidates)
- Emoluments : Rs 18000/- + 30% HRA
- Duration : 3 years
