The CSIR-Institute of Himalayan Bioresource Technology,Palampur (CSIR-IHBT) is one of the National Institute under the Council of Scientific & Industrial Research which is an Autonomous Body. It is located on a 250 acres of land with the backdrop of snow-covered peaks of Dhauladhar Range in salubrious climate. The Institute is engaged in research and technology development programmes for sustainable management of bioresources of the Himalayas. The Institute has successfully carried out mission-oriented projects on tea, temperate floriculture and aromatic plants and is well equipped for Tissue culture and Biotechnology.

- Position : Senior Technical Officer in Biochemical Engineering
- Age : 35 years
- Pay Band : PB-3, Rs 15600-39100 with Grade pay of Rs 5400/-
- Desired Profile : B.E./B.Tech in Biochemical Engineering/Biotechnology with 55% marks and two years of experience in
relevant field
- Preferred : Working experience in fermentation/procesing plants/plot plants for microbial culture/cell culture/enzyme technology
- Job Requirement : Upscaling of fermentation, cell culture, enzyme and other related technologies
- Position : Senior Technical Officer in Biotechnology
- Age : 35 years
- Pay Band : PB-3, Rs 15600-39100 with Grade pay of Rs 5400/-
- Desired Profile : B.E./B.Tech in Biotechnology with 55% marks and two years of experience in plant tissue culture or M.Sc with 55% marks in Biotechnology/Botany/Agricultureal Science after 1st class B.Sc (Science) with two years research experience in plant tissue culture
- Preferred : Planning and executing experiments for mass propogation of plant and establishment in nursuries
- Job Requirement : Indent management of all tissue culture and allied operations
