Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (GADVASU) was established at Ludhiana by an act of the Punjab Legislature No. 16 of 2005 notified in the Punjab Government Gazette on August 9, 2005 and it started functioning w.e.f. April 21, 2006 for promoting livestock production, health and prevention of the disease(s) through integrated teaching, research and extension programme(s).
Applications are invited for the two (2) posts of Senior Research Fellow in the DBT, India and BBSRC, UK sponsored collaborative project entitled "C-VMC-M.Sc-25, Combined use of novel diagnostic tools and strategic vaccination of control bovine brucellosis in endemic areas"

- Desired Profile : B.Sc. degree in any relevant branch of Life Sciences/Biological sciences with at least second division. MSc and /or Ph.D. degree in any branch of life sciences / Veterinary Science/ Biological sciences with specialization in Microbiology / molecular biology/ Immunology/ Animal Biotechnology / Bacteriology with at least 65% marks or an OCPA of 6.50 out of 10 or equivalent.
- Job responsibilities : Research duties as per mandate of the project.Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time. The post is purely temporary and the services of the
incumbent are liable to be terminated at any time without any prior notice.
- Emoluments : Rs. 18,000 + 20% HRA per month
