Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology (SKUAST) was an Agricultural University in the Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir. It was established in the year 1982 through an Act passed by the State Legislature. The application should reach the office of Dr. G. K. Rai (Asstt. Prof.), School of Biotechnology, SKUAST-J, Chatha, Jammu-180009 (J&K) along with attested copies of the certificates on or before 25.01.2015. These positions are purely temporary to be filled initially for a period of six months or till life of the project, further extension of six months each shall be granted on the basis of performance of the appointee. The engagement stands terminated on the completion of the projects with no claim on the permanent absorption in this University. Only eligible candidates will be informed about the date, time and venue of interview later on. No TA/DA shall be paid for attending the interview.
