The Central Institute of Post-Harvest Engineering and Technology (CIPHET) was established on 29 December 1989 at the PAU Campus, Ludhiana, Punjab, India as a nodal institute to undertake lead researches in the area of the post-harvest engineering and technology appropriate to agricultural production catchment and agro-industries.
Applications are invited for making the panel for appointment to the post of one RA or SRF, if suitable candidate for RA is not available for Research project under the National Fund for basic, strategic and frontier application research in Agriculture (NFBSFARA) at CIPHET, Ludhiana, Punjab. The appointment will be purely temporary under contractual and co-terminus basis, following the prescribed procedure for six months or till the completion date of the project.
- Project Title : Development of spectroscopic methods for detection and quantification of adulterants and contaminants in fruit juices and milk

Food Science and Technology or M.Tech/M.Sc in any subject mentioned above with 60% marks or 1st division or equivalent OGPA with two years experience in research/teaching
- Remuneration : RA : Rs 24000/- + HRA | SRF : Rs 16000/- + HRA for first two years and Rs 18000/- for 3rd year
