Jawaharlal Nehru University, also known as JNU, is a public central university in New Delhi, India. In 2012, The National Assessment and Accreditation Council gave the university a grade of 3.9 out of 4, the highest grade awarded to any educational institution in the country.University is organised into ten schools, each of which has several centres, as well as four independent special centres. The objective of the founders was to make the university a premier institution of higher learning and to promote research and teaching leading to the increasing engagement of its students and teachers in higher level academic work and national and international policy making.
Applications were invited for the following purely temporary post in the ICMR funded project entitled "Study of Antiangiogenic and Anti-tumor effects of fisetin in lung cancer: Implications for Intervention of Cancer".

- Desired Profile : M.Sc. in any branch of Life Sciences with two years of research experience. Qualified National Eligibility Test (CSIR/UGC//ICMR)
- Preferred : Working experience in Cancer Biology area with expertise in cell culture techniques and handling of mice.
- Salary : As per ICMR
The selected candidate will be appointed on purely temporary basis, initially for a period of seven months or till his/her services are required by the project director or till the validity of the project that is 31/07/2015, whichever is earliest.
