University of Agricultural Sciences, Dharwad, (UASD) is a State Public university established by the Government of Karnataka which imparts Education, Research and Extension activities in the field of Agriculture, forestry and home science. The university was started on 1 October 1986.

Applications are invited from the eligible candidates for the appointment of following posts for a period of one year or till the project/scheme is discontinued whichever is earlier

• Project scheme : Understanding the influence of weather parameters on cotton yield and yield forecasting through crops modeling approach" under Staff Research Project at Directorate of Research, UAS, Dharwad
• Position : Graduate Assistant

• Project scheme : Wheat productivity enhancement through advanced bio-technological intervention
• Position : SRF

  Plant Breeding

• Salary : Rs 16000/- + HRA

• Project scheme : Rapid mapping of QTLs for fibre quality traits in Indian cotton by whole genome re-sequencing

• Desired Profile : M.ScBiotechnology with experience in genome mapping and Bioinformatics
• Salary : Rs 23000/- + HRA

• Project scheme : Development of technology for efficient utilization of pressmud and spent wash for production of value added compost
• Position : SRF

• Desired Profile : M.Sc Agricultural Microbiology
• Salary : Rs 17000/- + HRA
