The Dr. Reddy's Institute of Life Sciences was conceived in the context of globalization, to foster research competence in India and to bridge the divide between academic research and the pharmaceutical & Biotechnology industries. The institute was incorporated as a non-profit entity under Section 25 of the Indian companies act, facilitating operational autonomy. Construction of the ILS building comprising 44 labs and an administrative block and spanning ~130,000 sq.ft. in area, began in 2004 and was completed in January 2007.
Applications are invited for the following post of Research Associate (temporary position coterminous with the project) under CSIR funded research project on ““Elucidation of PHLPP1 signaling during macrophage activation: Requirement of domains and identification of stimulus specific interaction partners”
- Position : Research Associate
- No of Post : 1
- Fellowship : Rs. 22,000 plus 30% HRA (total Rs. 28, 600) per month
- Desired Profile : Doctorate (PhD/MD/MS/MDS) degree in Biotechnology or any other related branch of Basic Sciences from a recognized university/institute with a consistent academic record. The candidate should be motivated to work with dedication. Relevant research experience as evident from thesis/dissertation/project work.
- Preferred : Expertise/experience in Cell Biology, molecular biology, Biochemistry and Proteomic analysis
- Experience : 0-2 years in the areas of molecular biology, Cell Biology and Biochemistry
- Duration : The duration of the research fellowship is for three years. However, the performance of the candidate will be reviewed after the completion of every year and the fellowship will be renewed only upon satisfactory performance
