DCFR is the only national facility in the country to take up the research investigation on capture and culture aspects wi th a focus on exotic and indigenous coldwater fish species. Since its inception, the NRCCWF in spite of constraints in terms of manpower and infrastructure has made significant contribution for proper appraisal of coldwater fishery resources and evolve suitable technologies to propagate important coldwater fish species in hills.

Walk-in-interview for the engagement of following position under the time bound project will be held in the Institute Campus at Bhimtal Distt. - Nainital on 12.12.2014 as per details given under: 

• Project title : NFDB funded project entitled "National Surveillance Programme for Aquatic Animal Diseases." 
• Position : Senior Research Fellow
• No of Post : Two
• Desired Profile : Post graduation in Biotechnology/Microbiology/Biochemistry/Life Sciences with minimum 60% marks in post Graduation 
• Preferred : UGC/CSIR /DBTJRF with Practical experience in molecular biology/Bio-Chemistry/Microbiology 
• Age : 35 years for and 40 years for women 
• Emoluments : 16000/-p.m +HRA

Note : 

• The above position is purely on contract basis. 
• The person recruited will haven claim for absorption in any capacity after the termination of the project. 
• Duration of project may be increased/decreased and persons deployed will be co-terminus automatically with the termination of the project. 
• No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview. 
• Certificates of all passed examinations starting from matriculation, a latest passport size photograph affixed on the application containing bio-data and caste certificate should be produced at the time of interview. 
• No objection certificate from the employer/university, in case he/she is in employment elsewhere/doing PhD etc.
• Experience Certificate in original, if any. 
• Canvassing in any form will disqualify the candidature.
