Central Food Technological Research Institute(CFTRI), Mysore (A constituent laboratory of Council of Scientific and Industrial research, New Delhi) came into existence during 1950 with the great vision of its founders, and a network of inspiring as well as dedicated scientists who had a fascination to pursue in-depth research and development in the areas of food science and technology.
CSIR-CFTRI invites eligible candidates to appear for a Walk-in-Interview for 6 (Six) position of Project Assistants on a temporary contractual basis in the Rural Sector project entitled "Selected technologies / protocols for empowering the rural folks by adopting post-harvest processing" OLP0096 funded by CSIR, Government of India, New Delhi tenable at the CSIR-CFTRI, Mysore.

- Position : PROJECT ASSISTANT LEVEL II
- No of Post : Six
- Desired Profile : First Class M.ScZoology /Food Technology/ Food Science/ Biosciences /Biotechnology /Microbiology /Biochemistry / Life sciences
- Emoluments : Rs.12,000 per month as per CSIR Rules
- Age : The upper age limit for applying shall be 28 years (as on 10-12-2014), which is relaxed up to 5 years in the case of candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes / Schedule Tribes, Women, Persons with Disabilities (PWD) and OBCs.
Terms & Conditions:
- Candidates should not have exceeded 28 years of age as on 10-12-2014 i.e., the last date of receipt of applications for the position.
- The engagement of PAs is exclusively for the above mentioned project.
- The engagement will be contractual and on purely temporary basis in the project funded by CSIR, Govt. of India from a period December, 2014 - March, 2015 and may be further extended subject to approval from CSIR.
- The engagement under the project does not confer any right/claim whatsoever either explicitly or implicitly on the appointee for regular appointment in CSIR/CFTRI, against any post or otherwise under any legal conditions precedent.
- No TA/DA will be given to the candidates for attending the interview.
