Research on oil palm under irrigated conditions is practically a new start and the Indian Council of Agricultural Research established the National Research Centre for Oil Palm at Pedavegi in West Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh on February 19, 1995. In February, 2009 the institute was upgraded as Directorate of Oil Palm Research (DOPR) to cater to the location specific programmes across the country.
Written test followed by Walk-in-Interview will be held at IIOPR, Pedavegi, for the positions of SRFs, Contractual Persons and Young-Professional - II sanctioned under various schemes.
