"Bioinformatics Sub Dic" project at IIT Kharagpur has opening for Project Officer

The Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur is a public engineering, management and law institution established by the government of India in 1951. The first of the IITs to be established, it is recognized as an Institute of National Importance by the government of India. IIT Kharagpur has 19 academic departments, eight multi-disciplinary centres/schools, and 13 schools of excellence in addition to laboratories and central research facilities.

Applications are invited on plain paper for the following assignment on a purely time bound Project undertaken in the various Departments / Centres / Schools of the Institute.

• Project title : Bioinformatics SUB DIC (DIC)
• Position : Junior/ Senior Project Officer 
• No of Post : 1
• Desired Profile : M. Sc in any branch of Life Sciences with experience in molecular biology/Genetics/Biochemistry preferably a Post Graduate diploma in Bioinformatics or two years working experience in Bioinformatics (Minimum 60% marks starting from matriculation examination).
• Fellowship : Rs.16,000/- to Rs.18,000/- p.m. (depending on qualification & experience)
• Application Fee: Demand Draft for Rs.50/- (Not for female candidates) drawn in favour of IIT Kharagpur payable at Kharagpur
