Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology (SKUAST) was an Agricultural University in the Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir. It was established in the year 1982 through an Act passed by the State Legislature. The University is working on imparting education in agricultural and other allied branches of learning and scholarship
Applications on prescribed format are invited from permanent residents of J&K State for filling up the post of Junior Research Fellows for Advanced Human Genetics Centre at Sheri- Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences, Soura Srinagar on tenure basis for a period of one year extendable upto 3 years subject to good or “up to mark” performance of the engagees. The eligibility criteria and other details are here as under:

- Desired Profile : M. Sc. in Genetics /Immunology / Applied Genetic / Molecular Medicine / Bio-Technology
- Remarks : Selection shall be made through a competitive test strictly on the basis of merit obtained by the candidates in the said test to be conducted by SKIMS Deemed University itself. The test shall comprise of 200 questions of MCQ type for which time allowed is 200 minutes. The schedule for the same shall be notified separately. The MCQs will test the candidates knowledge of Genetics and Molecular Medicine.
How to apply : The Application forms shall be available only at SKIMS website www.skims.ac.in from 24-11-2014 to 09-12-2014. No application forms will be issued from Academic Section SKIMS.The application forms duly completed in all respects attached with attested copies of the following certificates along with a Demand Draft of Rs. 500/- (Five hundred only) (Nonrefundable) from any branch of J&K Bank pledged to FA/CAO, SKIMS dated between 24-11- 2014 to 09-12-2014 shall be submitted in Academic Section SKIMS
