The Kerala University of Fisheries and Ocean Studies ( KUFOS ) is an autonomous public funded institution established on 20th November 2010, and governed by the Kerala University of Fisheries and Ocean Studies Act, 2010.This is the first Fisheries University in India coming under the Fisheries Ministry with its headquarters at Panangad.
Applications are invited from the candidates including retired hands for the selection of Academic Consultant on Contract for a period of one year.
- Position : Academic Consultant (Marine Microbiology and Marine Drugs)
- No. of vacancies : 1
- Qualification : PG in Microbiology/Marine Microbiology or Marine Biology with Ph.D in Marine Microbiology/Marine Biotechnology
- Experience : 15 years experience in Aquatic Microbiology especially in biometrically important microbes
Desirable qualification for the above post :
- Proven track record of curriculum development in the relevant faculty.
- Monitoring and implementation of Research projects and Research
- Age – Maximum 68 years
- Remuneration – Rs.50,000/month, likely to be hiked.
Job requirement :
- Curriculum development and teaching.
- Co-ordinate various activities of the course.
- Preparation of Research projects.
- Guidance to students.
