Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (GADVASU) was established at Ludhiana by an act of the Punjab Legislature No. 16 of 2005 notified in the Punjab Government Gazette on August 9, 2005 and it started functioning w.e.f. April 21, 2006 for promoting livestock production, health and prevention of the disease(s) through integrated teaching, research and extension programme(s).
Applications are invited for the one post of Senior Research Fellow in the research project entitled, "(C-1CAR-17), All India Network programme on Haemorrhagic septicemia".

- Desired Profile : B.Sc. degree in any relevant branch of Life Sciences/Biological sciences with at least second division.Master's Degree in Animal Biotechnology /Biotechnology/ Microbiology with specialization in Bacteriology/Virology/Immunology — with an overall credit point average of 6.50/10.00 or 65% marks and above
- Pay : Rs. 16,000 + HRA per month for first and second year and Rs. 18,000 + HRA per month for the third year for Post Graduate in subjects other than Veterinary Science
- Duration : The initial appointment will be upto 31.03.2015.
