Research on oil palm under irrigated conditions is practically a new start and the Indian Council of Agricultural Research established the National Research Centre for Oil Palm at Pedavegi in West Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh on February 19, 1995. In February, 2009 the institute was upgraded as Directorate of Oil Palm Research (DOPR) to cater to the location specific programmes across the country.
Written test followed by Walk-in-Interview will be held at DOPR, Pedavegi, for the position of SRF sanctioned under RF - II scheme.

- Desired Profile : M.Sc in Agriculture/ Horticulture / Botany (Plants)
Terms & Conditions:
- Age should be below 35 years for men and 40 years for women as on 01st November, 2014;
- The applicants must bring with them original certificates and a brief of research work carried earlier alongwith one set of photocopies of various testimonials. Applicants without original certificates will not be permitted to attend written test and interview.
- No objection certificate from the employer in case he/she is employed elsewhere;
- Experience certificate, in original, if any;
- The offer will be for a period of one year and it may be extendable. The above position is purely temporary and is co-terminus with the project; 06. No TA/DA will be paid to the candidates for attending the interview;
- Candidates are advised to report at Directorate of Oil Palm Research, Near Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Pedavegi, positively by 09.30 A.M. on the date of interview for getting their certificates/testimonials verified before they are allowed for written test/interview.
