The Central Institute of Brackishwater Aquaculture (CIBA) is the nodal institute to cater to the needs of the brackishwater aquaculture sector of the country and has been a pioneer in nutrition and feed technology for brackishwater aquaculture. CIBA has developed indigenous shrimp feed technology for the tiger shrimp (Penaeus monodon) and successfully commercialized the technology to private entrepreneurs for commercial production
The following posts are to be filled purely on temporary basis under a NFDB funded project of this Institute.
- Title of the project : Technology refinement of nutrient dense nursery rearing and grow-out of Litopenaeus vannamei in periphyton and bio-floc based systems
- Position : SRF

- Duration : 10 months
- Desired Profile : M.Sc.(Coastal Aquaculture /Aquaculture/Microbiology/ Biotechnology)
- Stipend : Rs.16000/- p.m. + 30% HRA Opportunity to register for Ph.d
- Age : Maximum 35 years for men and 40 years for women as on date of interview.
- Title of the project : Technology refinement of nutrient dense nursery rearing and grow-out of Litopenaeus vannamei in periphyton and bio-floc based systems
- Position : Project Assistant

- Duration : 10 months
- Desired Profile : B.Sc. / (Zoology / Coastal Aquaculture / Aquaculture / Biotechnology)
- Stipend : Rs.9000/- p.m.
- Age : Maximum 35 years for men and 40 years for women as on date of interview.
