Interview will be conducted at CMFRI Kochi for recruitment of SRF

Central Marine Fisheries Research Institute is a marine fisheries research institute located at Kochi, India. It is an Indian Council of Agricultural Research institute. The Central Marine Fisheries Research Institute established by the Government of India under the Ministry of Agriculture in 1947 became a member of the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) family in 1967. Over the period, the Institute has grown significantly in its size, stature & research infrastructure. Now, it enjoys the status of a premier research organisation comparable to any similar institution in the developed countries.

Interview will be conducted at CMFRI Kochi for the following position on contractual appointment basis under Ministry of Earth Sciences funded Project on" Commercial viability of black pearl production in the Andamans and conservation mariculture of ETP gastropods".

  • Experience : Experience in reproductive biology of invertebrates/larval rearing/Mariculture /experience in sea trips and stay in Islands/seawater sample analysis.Evidence of published work/Experience in data processing using computers
  • Age limit : 30 years (age relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST& 3 years for OBC)
  • Emoluments : Rs.14,000 + 20% HRA per month
