Walk-in-Interview for post of Senior Research Fellow @ IARI

The Indian Agricultural Research Institute is the country's premier national Institute for agricultural research, education and extension. It has the status of a 'Deemed-to-be-University' under the UGC Act of 1956, and awards M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in various agricultural disciplines. The growth of India's Agriculture during the past nearly 100 years, is closely linked with the researches done and technologies generated by the Institute. The Green Revolution stemmed from the fields of IARI.

• Project Title : ORP Research Project entitled “Diagnosis and Management of Leaf Spot Diseases of Field and Horticultural Crops”
• Number of posts : One Senior Research Fellow
• Eligibility : M.Sc. Life Sciences/ M.Sc. Biotechnology with special reference to Plant Pathology/ Microbiology having good academic record & hands–on experience of working with microbes (lab), fields (crops) and knowledge of computers.
• Preferred : Should have hands–on experience in handling Plant pathogens and Biocontrol and working in agricultural fields.
• Pay scale : For Senior Research Fellow: Rs.18, 000/- + 30% H.R.A. per month
