Jawaharlal Nehru University, also known as JNU, is a public central university in New Delhi, India. In 2012, The National Assessment and Accreditation Council gave the university a grade of 3.9 out of 4, the highest grade awarded to any educational institution in the country.University is organised into ten schools, each of which has several centres, as well as four independent special centres. The objective of the founders was to make the university a premier institution of higher learning and to promote research and teaching leading to the increasing engagement of its students and teachers in higher level academic work and national and international policy making.
Walk in Interview is arranged at 11.30 AM for the following purely temporary posts in the DST funded Project entitled "Design Synthesis and Biological Evaluation of novel indole and 2,3-dihydro-1H-indene derivatives in the search of potent HIV 1 Integrase Inhibitors (HIV-1INI's)".
- Position :Junior Research Fellow/Senior Research Fellow
- Stipend : Rs. 14000/- + HRA / 16000 + HRA
- Desired Profile : Master's degree in Chemical Sciences/ Life Sciences/ Biochemistry/ Biotechnology/ Microbiology/ Biophysics/ with strong academic record. NET -LS/ GATE qualified will be preferred.
- Preferred : A candidate with an experience in organic synthetic methodology, coupling reactions and stereo selective synthesis will be preferred. Student with Biology background should have an experience in Protein expression, Purification, cloning, DNA isolation, Agarose gel running, SDS gel running, PCR, DNA sequencing, Western Blotting, Confocal Microscopy, Spectroscopy, Fluorescence Microscopy.
The selected candidate will be appointed on purely temporary basis, initially for a period of one year or till his/her services are required by the Project Investigator or till the validity of the project, whichever is earliest.
